In 2007 KC’s Flowers was borne from the floral shop originally known as  Matthiesen’s Flowers.  From its humble beginning more than 100 years ago in the Seward Park neighborhood of Seattle, as the population landscape changed the business migrated to the Columbia City neighborhood.  While ownership has changed from time to time, more recently, new life blood has been pumped into this little neighborhood gem.  Today, KC’s Flowers serves the entire city of Seattle as well as Renton, Tukwila, Burien, and Mercer Island.  In addition to flowers, KC’s Flowers retail store also offers an extensive choice of greeting cards, gifts, balloons, indoor plants, and a seasonal supply of outdoor plants and gardening supplies.
